Sockeye salmon is a species of Pacific Salmon and is sometimes called Red Salmon.
Caught in the cool, pristine Skeena & Nass rivers of Canada during their upstream migration.
Sockeye salmon posses a rich red colouration with flesh that is drier than Atlantic Salmon. The firm textured flesh of sockeye can be eaten raw, pan fried, baked, barbequed or smoked. A fish very high in omega-6 oils.
