Salt & Pepper Squid
Tender pineapple scored squid strips coated in a light batter seasoned with salt & pepper. Serve hot with tartare, aioli or flavoured mayonnaise.
Deep fry: Preheat oil to 180C. Cook for 2.5-3.5 minutes. Pan Fry: Preheat 2-3mm of oil to medium-high heat and cook the squid for 4-6 minutes turning regularly. Oven bake: Preheat fan forced oven to 220C, place on lined baking tray and cook for 7-8 minutes each side.
