Sockeye salmon is a species of Pacific Salmon and is sometimes called Red Salmon.

Caught in the cool, pristine Skeena & Nass rivers of Canada during their upstream migration.

Sockeye salmon posses a rich red colouration with flesh that is drier than Atlantic Salmon. The firm textured flesh of sockeye can be eaten raw, pan fried, baked, barbequed or smoked. Sockeye is low in sodium and a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids, protein, niacin, vitamin B12, and selenium.
